Alimiyyah Course

Alimiyyah Overview

The Alimiyyah Diploma is a comprehensive Islamic studies programme that equips students with beneficial knowledge rooted in the Quran and Sunnah. In the name of Allah, the Most-Merciful, the Most-Beneficent. May our forever salutations be upon our beloved Messenger of Allah (SWT).

Nearly two billion people across the globe identify as Muslim; therefore, Islam is the faith of almost one-quarter of the world’s population.

Consequently, we aim to play a leading role throughout Scotland and beyond, educating and inspiring students with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

Furthermore, the Alimiyyah Diploma Award guides prospective students on their journey in seeking beneficial knowledge and developing skills to become role models for future generations.

Moreover, we envision a society where individuals, regardless of background or age, flourish in their religiosity, education, and community endeavours. Accordingly, we offer excellent opportunities to our students while studying the Alimiyyah Diploma at AFECC.

Additionally, our Alimiyyah Diploma course follows a structure that allows students to seek knowledge in gradual stages, as laid out by the scholars.

A full list of the modules covered is provided in the section “what you study” below.

Importantly, the course takes place online and you’ll need to spend a total of 12 hours per week (Alimiyyah 8 hours and Arabic 4 hours) studying.
