Did you know that AFECC runs five different centres around Scotland, AFECC Glasgow, AFECC Edinburgh, AFECC Ayr, AFECC Ardrossan and AFECC Community Halls.
In all our centres and areas in which AFECC works in, we hold regular prayers reminders, courses and khutbahs. Alongside these major duties, we carry out community and welfare support work on the ground. Alhamdulilah we have partnerships with several other institutions to help build and support the dawah works throughout Scotland.
The goal of Al-Farooq Education & Community Centre is to provide safe and clean drinking water to Pakistan’s most impoverished communities in Sindh. Water is not readily accessible for most families. They walk miles daily carrying heavy containers, often receiving contaminated water that puts their health at risk. For just £200, you can install a water pump and supply clean, safe drinking water to an entire community.
"The best charity is giving water to drink." — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Every Friday holds a special place in our hearts and community, and with Jummah Giving, you can turn this blessed day into an opportunity for ongoing impact. Why Fridays?
🔹 Barakah (blessing): Friday is the most blessed day of the week in Islam. Giving then enhances the reward.
